The Salars and volcano
We started out from Uyuni on a 4x4. The vehicle had some trouble
so we had to wait at the Hotel del Salar. This place was made almost entirely out of salt. We visited the fish islands.
Mythical fish, turned to stone when the ocean dried up.
We saw llamas and cactus which grows on
the outcrops.
The salt crystals were quite interesting.
We stayed in small villages. We passed active volcanoes on the
second day.
