Machu Pichu
These are pictures of the ruins. When we arrived it started raining and did not stop. After 500 years the fountains were still working, and the ruins were
covered in mist. It was a shame it was so wet.
The alters were carved from solid granite. We saw the temple of the
condor and the temple of the moon.
The Inca observatory had polished rounded walls. At the centre of the temples were massive stones, carved with steps, and three windows representing three worlds.
